That day, I cried for all the years I hadn’t cried. Buckets of tears. They were salty and sad and desperate. They all tasted weird. They all tasted like him.

Sinners of Saint…where do I even begin with these four hotholes? Dean is and will forever be my favorite of the boys, but wow, Jamie really took my breath away. I wasn’t sure how I would feel about the whole student teacher relationship but in truth…it really didn’t bother me at all. I mean, Jaime was eighteen already and Mel was only twenty six, so it didn’t really feel “weird”. If you know what I mean. God, Jamie is so primal and filthy, it’s amazing!!! This was a novella, so it’s really short and sweet and to the point, which is why this review is so short! Mel teaches English at the high school and literally has all four hotholes in her class. She is NOT a fan of Vicious which is hilarious after reading Vicious and getting to know him better. Especially because of the way he feels about Emilia. Mel loves Emilia, thinks she’s brilliant and bright and so capable. I loved the overlap of those two stories. So anyway, Jamie’s mother is the principal of the school and absolutely loathes Mel for reasons unknown to her (and to us). She even knows about Jamie and Mel and doesn’t say anything until she decides to blackmail Mel. It doesn’t work though…because Mel and Jamie’s love is STRONGER! Ugh it’s such a great read, guys. I know I’m a little late to the game, but LJ Shen is such a breath of fresh air. A beautiful and brilliant author. 5 stars all around!! 🙂
